Originally from Texas and now living in Seattle, the artist and
designer Ross Lowder joins Voragine with the Shred EP.
Drawing inspiration from the jagged peaks and cold waters
that define the Pacific Northwest, the three-track release
ties together ominous undertones with rapid-fire percussion
and warping basslines that cut through in a high-tempo set.
Distant echoing vocals and sharp staccato elements
highlight the connections between Shred 1 & Shred 2, while
the closing track, Full Moon, evokes a mysterious
atmosphere with its dissonant notes and hypnotic vocals.
